Employee Duties, Responsibilities and Performance Indicators:
• Design following the different project requirements formulated by the Business Development Manager
• Optimizing each design to minimize the installation and construction costs of each project.
• Request support and train yourself to be proficient in using Helioscope Designs, PV Case, PV Cad and Pvsyst as well as other relevant design tools
• Completing interconnection drawings, single line diagrams, bid sets, construction sets, and as-built drawings for all solar projects.
• Provide input to project managers to assist them in completing their projects in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Provide feedback and input to the sales team to advise the client regarding the best suitable solution for their needs.
• Keep up to date with the latest products and specifications by communicating with vendors on a regular basis.
• Assist Procurement Officer in finding the correct product for the required specification
• Attend customer meetings and presentations throughout sales cycle, if necessary.
• Conduct all commissioning verification checks on all projects and provide the required handover documents to clients in a timely manner at the end of each project
• Monitoring of all site’s performance and highlight concerns to O&M department.
• Populate and review BOQ’s where required
• Provide and present a monthly tech review on latest market trends
• Complete any additional ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Management
