The 10GW High-Efficiency Solar Cells and 5GW High-Efficiency Modules Project in JA Solar Qujing Base was ceremoniously started. It is now the best moment for Qujing PV Industry to develop. JA Solar takes the lead in investing in Qujing City to build the solar module project, with the aim to proactively build a “green PV energy base” across the whole industry chain. JA Solar invests RMB 6.193 billion in total to build the 10GM High-Efficiency Solar Cells and 5GW High-Efficiency Modules Project and a 400t Carbon/Carbon Auxiliary Materials Supporting Works, and works together with all strategic partners to actively participate in development of wind and solar resources in Qujing, helping Qujing build itself into the “world’s PV capital” integrating PV manufacturing and PV application.

JA Solar is the first to invest in Qujing to build the solar cells and modules projects, and realized whole industry chain layout, marking a significant milestone for its development. JA Solar will enhance its confidence and spare no efforts to keep increasing investment and speed up construction for early completion and operation of the Project, making pioneering and greater contributions to the economic and social development of Qujing.
