Head of Sales – Manufacturer – Nairobi, Kenya

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial team to ensure business growth and increase market share across markets and segments
  • Identify new business opportunities within the territory
  • Provide support to the sales team on clients management and negotiations, as well as develop clients and negotiate contracts of your own
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Take ownership of all sales-related matters in the region and communicate effectively to General Manager and HQ
  • Work effectively with supporting functions to ensure optimal and timely support of commercial activities

Requirements

  • Recent and relevant PV sales experience in the Sub-Saharan region
  • University Degree in Business or Engineering
  • Confidence and foresight in soliciting for new businesses and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Ability to negotiate sales deals that contribute to the company top and bottom lines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, both external and internal
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • A leader and motivator for the sales team
