Country Representative – SHS – Niamey, Niger


We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and dynamic person to lead and open new markets for our subsidiary in Niger.

In addition to their technical and commercial skills in the field of solar energy, the ideal candidate will be in charge of the proper functioning of the country office:

Business Development

  • Analyze business development opportunities;
  • Develop and support the country’s commercial strategy in collaboration with the head office in Dakar;
  • Work closely with technical staff to determine new terms of the sales model (product, price and sale) and optimal solutions for implementation;
  • Lead a sales team responsible for selling products in the field (setting sales targets)
  • Contribute to the efficiency of after-sales service
  • Ensure that the collection of monthly payments is effective

Technical support

  • Recruitment of a technical team capable of following installations of all our solar systems;
  • Training of technical sales teams in the field
  • Ensure business intelligence: reports on current energy solutions in urban and rural areas and the implementation of our  competitors;

Country representation:

  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team
  • Coordinate administrative tasks related to the country office
  • Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with local communities, local authorities and complementary businesses (for example, money transfer);
  • Contribute to the administrative procedures for the import-export of goods


  • Bac + 4 or + 5 (Master 2) in the business area or engineering field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a technical sales team in a national or international environment;
  • Understanding of solar technology and experience in a solar energy supplier company;
  • Good knowledge of the administrative, legal and local tax environment;
  • Mastery of the customs environment and international transactions;
  • Ability to speak French and local languages (English is an asset)
