JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. Tiger Neo produces over 3% more power than its current P type mono-PERC counterparts owing to its benefits including lower degradation, higher bifaciality, higher-temperature performance, better low-light performance in the morning and later afternoon, lower rate of LID (light-induced degradation) and not suffer from the effects of LeTID (light and elevated temperature induced degradation), unlike P-type cells. The main motivation behind the development of more powerful solar panels such as Tiger Neo is to reduce the Levelized cost of electricity from solar farms and ultimately make solar a competitive renewable energy source of energy.
