UNEP in collaboration with Frankfurt School, announces the recipients of the CCI Programme Call for Proposals. CCI will support three pilot projects in Kenya.
We celebrate OFGEN, our members for bagging the opportunity of being recipients of the CCI Programme by the UNEP in conjunction with Frankfurt School. The programme will support OFGEN under type 2 grant funding (Financing vehicle/instrument) to establish a special purpose vehicle (SPV) that aims to raise financing in local currency for the development of captive solar power plants for companies in the commercial & industrial (C&I) sector in Kenya. This is a timely course as efforts are being channelled towards growing the Renewable Energy footprint in the Kenyan Energy Market.
